We are seeking an intelligent, hardworking and ambitious person to work part or full-time in our office in East London.
You will work closely with our Director and your day will include calendar management and scheduling, co-ordination and follow-ups with clients when needed. You will speak to suppliers, shops and attend meetings where necessary; help with planning and general arrangements; basic administrative, book-keeping tasks and staff training. As well as help where assistance is needed, which may include filling in for a driver (requires lifting of boxes weighing up to 15kg) or sampling in stores. Any graphic design, marketing and social media interest/experience will be a bonus.
Your education is not essential, however experience in this field is preferable but not necessary. In order to be considered for the position you will need to be passionate about food, enthusiastic and a fast learner.
You must be a team player and a “people person”, with great organizational skills and good attention to detail, as there will be a lot of coordinating involved. Ideally, you will be an all-rounder, as you will be dealing with a variety of tasks from one day to the next. No two days are the same in this role, which makes this an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
You must be an eloquent and a strong communicator in both written and verbal form with an interest in food and the use of social media. You will be at an advantage if you have worked in an office environment previously and have had access to administrative software.
To succeed in this job you will need to be reliable, punctual, assertive and able to handle a lot of tasks simultaneously with ease. A self-starter, able to stay calm under pressure but full of energy will excel in this role. You must also be able to commit to minimum of 1 year+.
You will have the opportunity to move into a more senior role, providing you do well in this current position.
A sense of humour is useful in this role, as the tasks involved can require patience and persistence. The right candidate will be passionate about structure. Ideally you will have an enterprising attitude, which will enable you to see possibilities instead of limitations. You will be able to maintain a high level of quality service at all times. You should be motivated and able to manage various work tasks.
With these qualities you will thrive in our work environment. Although we operate at a high-business level we also work in an informal environment.
• A full clean UK driving license
• Qualified and willing to drive a van
• knowledge of HACCP
• Preferably Food tech qualified
Fluent in English, both in writing and verbal.
Experienced user of Mac, Mac mail, Microsoft office and basic photoshop skills.

8 hours daily.
